What Is a Gasoline Hose?
Gasoline hose must be constructed of materials specifically compatible with petroleum-based fuels — nitrile (NBR) or similar synthetic rubber tube compounds resist swelling and degradation from gasoline's aromatic hydrocarbons, unlike general-purpose rubber hose which will deteriorate and fail in fuel service.
