About Syntron Material Handling

About Syntron Material Handling

The Syntron Company was formed in 1934 in Homer City, Pennsylvania, as a manufacturer of vibratory feeders primarily used for coal and ore handling. In 1955 Link-Belt acquired The Syntron Company, combining two established names in bulk material handling equipment under one roof and setting the stage for decades of joint product development.

The Syntron vibratory products manufacturing operation relocated to Saltillo, Mississippi in 2007, and in May 2014 Syntron Material Handling (SMH) was formally established, built from the combined legacies of the Link-Belt Company and the Syntron Company, both formerly owned by FMC Technologies. Today Syntron Material Handling operates as a subsidiary of Kadant Inc., drawing on more than 140 years of combined bulk material handling experience across its Link-Belt and Syntron brands.

ChatMRO lists Syntron and Link-Belt vibratory feeders, screens, conveying equipment, and vibratory flow aids sorted by application and capacity so mining and industrial processing teams can find compatible equipment and replacement parts.
