About BOSTONtec

About BOSTONtec

BOSTONtec traces its roots to 1993, when it was founded as Boston Technical Furniture with a focus on ergonomic principles, electric height adjustability, and the flexibility to adapt to real-world workflows rather than forcing workers into a fixed setup. That founding philosophy still shapes the company's product design today.

In late 2003, the owners of Case Systems saw an opportunity to purchase the assets of this Boston-based metal fabrication company, and by January 2004 BOSTONtec, Inc. had become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Case Systems. Following the acquisition, the company's machinery and operations relocated to Midland, Michigan, where all BOSTONtec products continue to be designed and fabricated today.

BOSTONtec now specializes in height-adjustable and modular workstation solutions serving manufacturing, warehousing, data center, aerospace, laboratory, cleanroom, and biotechnology environments. Products are sold throughout North America directly from the Midland, Michigan facility. On ChatMRO, buyers can describe their facility type and workflow to find the matching BOSTONtec workstation configuration.
