That New York background shaped Aarco's early focus on trust and reliability, starting operations out of a 2,000-square-foot garage in Garden City Park with storage racks built from two-by-four lumber and a handful of hand drills.
The company outgrew that first location within two years and relocated to Hauppauge, New York, operating there for eleven years before settling into its permanent Yaphank, New York facility in 1988, where the majority of its product line is still manufactured today. Growth over five decades took the business from a small sign-and-chalkboard shop to a full visual communications manufacturer.
