About Witt Industries
Witt Industries was founded in 1887, giving it one of the longer operating histories among manufacturers in the waste and recycling receptacle space, and the company is headquartered in Mason, Ohio. An early milestone came in 1899 when Witt introduced its first patented corrugated ash can, a product that reflected the company's original focus on durable metal waste containment.
Over more than a century, Witt Industries expanded from that original ash can into a full line of indoor and outdoor waste receptacles, recycling containers, benches, and other site furnishings used across commercial, institutional, and municipal settings. The company's product range now spans a wide variety of capacities, materials, and mounting styles suited to everything from office breakrooms to public parks.
Witt Industries operates today as a division of The Armor Group, Inc., a diversified group of manufacturing companies, which gives it access to broader manufacturing resources while maintaining its own established product lines and customer base. On ChatMRO, buyers can ask for a specific Witt Industries receptacle style, capacity, or finish and get matched directly to a verified supplier.
