About Sprayway
Sprayway was established in 1947 and introduced the first pressurized aerosol glass cleaner sold to consumers in the United States, a product that quickly became known among professionals and tradespeople as "The World's Best" glass cleaner. The brand grew out of Claire Manufacturing and built its reputation on that original aerosol glass cleaner formula for decades.
Over the years Sprayway expanded into additional aerosol surface care formulations beyond glass cleaning, building a broader lineup of professional-grade cleaning products trusted by janitorial, automotive, and retail trades. In 2005, Plaze acquired both Claire Manufacturing and Sprayway to form PLZ Holding Corporation, keeping the brand's manufacturing and distribution consolidated under one company.
