About Metpar
Metpar was founded in 1952 as Metpar Steel Products Corporation by Edward Buksbaum in Long Island City, New York, before relocating to State Street in Westbury, New York in 1956. The Buksbaum family operated the company for nearly three decades until 1981, when Bob Berman and John Fallarino purchased the business and renamed it Metpar Corporation.
Under new ownership, Metpar continued expanding its manufacturing footprint on State Street through the acquisition of several contiguous buildings, growing into one of the largest full-line toilet partition manufacturers in the United States. In 2005, the company was acquired again by local private investors who have continued to grow its manufacturing and distribution operations.
Metpar added a new quick-ship distribution center in Morristown, Tennessee in 2015, improving delivery times for its toilet partition and restroom accessory lines across a broader geographic footprint. ChatMRO indexes the Metpar catalog so buyers can search by partition material, mounting style, or finish to find matching products.
