About Legend Valve
About Legend Valve
Legend Valve was founded in August 1988 by J. Robb Baubie, Nancy Spaeth, and David Hickman with a focus on customer service and product innovation in the valve and fittings market. The company entered the hydronics market with an Italian-sourced ball valve line and has since expanded into a broad catalog of valves and fittings for plumbing, industrial, commercial, and residential applications.
Over the years Legend Valve added fitting lines alongside its original valve products and launched American Legend Manufacturing, which extrudes PEX and other pipe at its Auburn Hills, Michigan campus for OEM customers and Legend-branded pipe. This vertical integration lets the company control more of its own supply chain for core plumbing products.
In 2023 Legend Valve transitioned to employee ownership, a structure the company has maintained while continuing to supply valves, fittings, and pipe to plumbing wholesalers and contractors. ChatMRO indexes the Legend Valve catalog so buyers can search by valve type, fitting size, or pipe specification to find matching products.
